Nope — every charter comes with a licensed captain, so nobody in your group needs a boater card or any experience. Your captain handles the boat; you handle the playlist. Tips for the captain (15–20%) are appreciated.
Absolutely — BYOB is the Lake Austin way. Bring your own drinks, coolers, and ice — there's plenty of room to stow them. Cans and plastic only, please — no glass on the water.
Yes and yes. Lake Austin's water stays calm and deep, and your captain knows the best swim spots. The lily pad, swim ladder, and life jackets in every size are all included.
If storms make the lake unsafe, we'll reschedule you for free — any open date, no questions asked. That applies however close to your charter it is, and it's the one thing we never charge for.
7 or more days before your charter: cancel for a full refund, deposit included.
Between 48 hours and 7 days: your 50% deposit covers the cancellation and we won't charge the balance.
Inside 48 hours: the full charter amount is due — at that point the date can't realistically be rebooked.
Storms are always the exception: unsafe conditions mean a free reschedule no matter how late.
